The Salish and Kootenai Housing Authority works for the members of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes to provide affordable housing with services such as transitional living, rental assistance, homeownership, as well as water and sewer needs.
Ordinance 68C
The Tribal Council of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes hereby establishes a public body known as the Salish and Kootenai Housing Authority (hereinafter referred to as the Authority), and enacts this ordinance which shall establish the purposes, power and duties of the Authority.
SKHA Collection Policy
The purpose of the Collection Policy will be to inform the customers of established guidelines for collection of rent, house payments, lot fees, housing services, service orders and other charges. The goal of the policy is to collect the amounts owed to the Salish and Kootenai Housing Authority, herein after referred to as the Housing Authority, to ensure the continuation of adequate housing services, while providing for the safety and well being of all customers and promoting fairness and due process.

Annual Performance Report (APR) Report for 2019
The Annual Performance Report (ARP) is a self-assessment prepared by the recipient of an Indian Housing Block Grants (IHBG). Each year SKHA must report to HUD on the annual accomplishments and show the progress made toward planned activities, intended outcomes, and programs. The APR describes how SKHA expended the IHBG funds for that year.
Indian Housing Plan (IHP) Report for 2021
The Salish & Kootenai Housing Authority (SKHA) is required to submit this plan every year in order to claim their Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG) funding. This plan spells out in detail all of the activities that SKHA will undertake in the coming year using IHBG funding.
